Namal Institute, Mianwali and Foundation for Science Technology & Civilisation (FSTC), Manchester have signed an MoU to promote scientific contributions of male and female scholars associated with the Muslim civilisation and to encourage students to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects. The contributions in science by non-European cultures are hardly mentioned in modern text books and thus they provide an unbalanced view of the sources of modern civilisation. Students with such awareness will have better appreciation of their own heritage and will be inspired to learn and direct their knowledge and skills to improve the quality of life in their societies.
